Mission

Lift empowers the development and leadership of legal technologists from underrepresented communities to advance diversity within the legal tech field and support organizations that promote equitable access to justice.

Vision

Lift works toward a future in which all legal technology staff working in the public interest law community have access to the opportunities, support, and resources they need to thrive professionally, drive innovation, and advocate for justice and equity in their communities. This access will allow legal organizations that promote equitable access to justice to leverage technology more effectively and efficiently to reach and represent the client communities they serve. LIFT seeks to increase diversity within legal tech and leadership roles so that staff demographics within those organizations more closely mirror those of the client communities they serve.
